How To Warm Up For Your Golf Game In 5 Minutes With Golf Fitness Stretches?

It is well known that in every professional sport athletes perform a series of flexibility exercises and drills to prepare them to play a game. The game of golf is no different. Unseen to the general public, many PGA Tour players perform a series of golf flexibility exercises to prepare them to play golf. It is done prior to hitting the driving range or putting green. It is a process of getting the muscles and joints of body ready to swing a golf club. Most every golfer on the planet understands the benefit of a warm-up program to get the body ready to play golf or any sport for that matter. Unfortunately for us the time required to perform a comprehensive golf warm-up program with golf flexibility exercises is not reasonable. Not reasonable because of time restrictions on our busy lives.

For example, we set our tee time for Friday at 1:30. Our plan when we leave the house in the morning is “I will get to course at 1:00, hit a few putts, chip for 10 minutes, head to the range, and be at the first tee with a few minutes to spare”. Unfortunately, our plans sometimes do not play out as we intended.

We get stuck with a client on the phone, a conference call runs long, we get stuck in traffic. Whatever the case may be we are caught rushing to the golf course, getting to the course with 10 minutes to spare, jump out of the car, tying our golf shoes, get to the first tee with 5 minutes to spare, haven’t hit a shot or putted….Do I need to go on?

Probably not.

It is a situation that happens to us all, and I as am guilty of it as you. However as strong as I suggest performing a good warm-up, and putting yourself in the correct frame of mind for the round, life at times just does not allow us to do it.

What are we to do in such situations?

I first off would suggest not utilizing the John Daly “grip and rip it” motto if you get to the first tee without warming-up. I have seen this (myself included) lead to a myriad of problems from the get go.

I can remember a few years ago I took this approach and I think made a triple bogey on the first hole. My drive went left into the rough, second shot to the right, approach shot over the green into the bunker, bunker shot rolled 20 feet past the hole. Need I go on?

Let’s just say I learned my lesson. First and foremost if you are caught in this type of situation lets not panic. Let’s put a plan together to start the round out on the right foot and keep you in a positive frame of mind.

My first suggestion is not to rush and attempt to hit 3 putts, pull out driver take a few hacks, and then tee it up.

Lets take the 5 minutes we have and get the body warmed-up and ready to swing a golf club. How can we do this? Simply by putting together a series of golf stretches to “loosen” you up. Golf flexibility exercises will loosen the muscles and joints of your body. Preparing them to swing a golf club. They are simple to perform and can get your body and mind more ready to play than just a few practice swings with the driver. This will take a couple of minutes to perform, but it will help you get the body ready to swing the golf club.

Once we have got the body “loosened up” lets get the mind in the correct space. I have seen all too often the tempo of a swing is way out of whack when a golfer lacks the time to properly warm-up. Attempt to relax, take a few deep breaths, and get the body to slow down a little. This should definitely help create some better tempo in your swing from the start.

Also, take your time. Once it is your turn to hit, take a little extra time. Take a few extra practice swings, relax, find your tempo, and match your first swing to the tempo of your practice swing. This is a tip I learned from Dean Reinmuth (top 50 Golf Digest teaching pros).

If you are not comfortable over the ball, step away, take a series of practice swings until you find the “right” swing and then perform that same swing over the golf ball. It has done wonders for my game.

I would also suggest continuing to take extra time on every shot until you feel comfortable and have found your swing. This might not occur until the second or third hole, but it is okay. It allows you to relax, make a good swing, and make a good shot.

Finally, when you are rushed I think course management can really help. Think about it for a moment. Why not on the first tee pull out 3-wood instead of driver, even if it is a par five. Hit a nice shot into the fairway, lay-up, and play for par? Again, starting off with par or even bogey is a lot better than a double or triple, both for your scorecard and mental frame of mind.

So if you are rushing to the first tee to get your golf game going let’s review the protocol. First and foremost lets be smart and utilize the time we have at hand. Lets take the 5 minutes we have to warm-up the body for the golf swing. We will do this through the implementation of a series of golf flexibility exercises. These golf exercises will get your muscles and joints ready to swing a golf club. Once the body is ready the next step is taking your time. Take a few extra practice swings with the golf club. This will allow you to find the tempo of your golf swing. Finally lets be smart with our course management skills. Think about what is the best golf shot to make and play within ourselves until our body and mind is ready to go.

8 Golf Rules That Are Difficult To Remember

Maybe you are new to the game of golf and are finding some of the rules too hard to remember. In such case it is great to carry a handy check list of rules you can refer to on the course.
Especially with traditional rules of the game, you could get confused with ones concerning hazards or stroke penalties for instance, so it is good to have the rules at hand at all times on the field.
In rare cases when you may disagree with another player it is good to be able to refer to the laws of the game to settle the matter amicably.
You may find it difficult to get your hands on a short checklist of golf rules, and we all would agree it is tedious to write on our your self. What we provide here can be used as a printout to carry when on the course.
Take a printout of the rules mentioned here, and use it as reference when you need to. We have taken the liberty to include some laws pertaining to the etiquettes of the game, which are also very important in a "gentlemen's" game such as golf.

1. You are never allowed to touch the ball while in play. The exception to this rule is when you are on the putting green area, and after the ball has been marked, and also at a time when you are about to play a stroke penalty, thereby removing the golf ball from a hazard or lie.

2. The only time you should play first in the fairway or the putting green is when you are the player who is furthest from the hole.

3. Do take the trouble to avoid slow play of the game. Use the time you have while waiting for others to play their shots by thinking about your own shot selection and club selection.

4. The player allowed to tee off first is he who has scored lowest on the previous round. It is impolite and against the rules to play first unless that fits your position.

5. Carrying more than fourteen clubs in your golf bag will lead to disqualification.

6. When another player is about to play his shot, do not talk or make sudden gestures or movements.

7. When you are on the putting area, take care to stay out of the line of a shot by another player on the same area.

8. Many golf courses have dress codes. If you are unsure of this, it is better to stay on the safe side by wearing a collared shirt.

It is a good idea to check with this list even before you take to the course, as a last minute reference.

Rules For Playing Golf

GOLF's HOME IN SCOTLAND

Although the origins of golf is connected with Scotland, historians have deemed former accounts of golf are noted in history as far back as the Roman Empire. Golf also popped up in numerous other locations, such as the Holland. From its filiation, golf was a competition with rigorous clothing - no jersey wholesalers necessary for this burgeoning sport.
The 1st golf club in the world was organized in Scotland - the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, in 1744. The club prescribed the first set of laws of the golf. About ten years later, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St. Andrews turned the authorised administering organ for the golf.
Though there are reports of golf near this time in the American colonies, the 1st golf club in North America actually was founded in Canada in Montreal in 1873. Golf clubs developed in the following years in USA and the United States Golf Association was soon constructed. The USGA and the Royal and Ancient are now the frist-class ruling agencies in the world of golf.
GOLF RULES
From its first days, golf has been a sport unlike from many others. There is no physical contact in golf, and courtesy and propriety are two of the most essential fundamentals of golf.
Until the 1940s, golf athlete wore shirts and ties, a nightmare situation for the jersey wholesalers who are such a part of many of today's sports.
Golf occurs on a course that normally has eighteen holes with groups of between 2 and 4 golf players. The laws of golf prescribe that golf athletes can carry no more than fourteen clubs. Today's laws also detail what type of technology is allowed in golf clubs.
The golf holes vary in distance from about one hundred and thirty yards to over 600 yards. Each hole is designated a great many strokes that represents "par", or the typical acceptable score on that hole. The number of strokes ranges for 3 to 5.
The objective of golf is for athletes to get the ball from the tee to the green, and then into the hole, in the fewest total strokes. Many courses have par totals for the round between seventy and seventy-two. A player who beats par on a hole by 1 stroke gets a "birdie"; while scoring two strokes under par on a hole is called an "eagle" and is uncommon. A player who strikes the tee shot into the hole on a Par 3 hole records an eagle that is called a "hole-in-one".

A stroke-play match is determined by the athlete with the lowest total strokes for the eighteen-holes. Professional golf tournaments normally span over 4 days. In match play golf, a golf athlete plays heads-up against his or her challenger.
The golf player who wins the most holes is declared the victor of the match. If there is a tie after eighteen holes, the match carries on until the first athlete wins a hole.
Golf, once named the gentlemen's game, has much of the flavor of its beginning years. Golf athletes don't wear ties, but the outfits are more formal and rules rely on golf athletes penalizing themselves.
I have great interest in wholesale jerseys such as NBA jersey, soccer jersey and NFL jersey.
As a famous jersey wholesaler, I have engaged in this line for more than 10 years.
I am glad to share experiences of
wholesale jerseys with you.

Golf For Beginners - A Few Tips When Starting Out

The first thing you must know is Golf is the rules and regulations, etiquette and such like.
Many golf clubs insist you wear the correct attire including shoes, glove and general clothing and in a lot of Golfing clubs it simply is not acceptable to not do so.
This is not the case in all clubs and many Clubs will turn a blind eye to the complete beginner as long as they are chaperoned by an experienced player who is a member.
That said, many clubs will simply not accept you unless you have a certain handicap and you meet the criteria required to make you eligible for membership.
Here are a few points you need to know right off the bat.
1. How to play Golf
Golf requires much practice and patience and can be very frustrating. It often is found especially by beginners that they will never be able to grasp what is needed and therefore give up after spending a lot of money on clubs and other attire to only find they can't get on with it.
One of the easiest and cost effective ways for you to start is to use your local driving range to give you a taster to see if it is something you like, if not all you have lost is a couple hours and a tiny bit of money.
Most driving ranges will provide you with a couple of clubs on a hire basis so you don't even have to buy your own.
2. Golf Attire
As with many other things, Golf can be an extremely expensive hobby or as cheap as you like.
For the beginner I would recommend you only buy a cheap set of clubs, golf balls and clothing until you reach the standard level and you become better all round.
Your clothing only has to consist of cheap, but smart looking polo shirt and chinos or looking like chino pants. Stay away from denim as you will find it tight fitting so you won't be able to play the game properly and many clubs don't allow it anyway.
3. Etiquette of Golf
Despite rumours to the contrary you will find that all different Golfing Clubs have their own rules and regulations.
This is something you will have to look out for when you think about joining a club. Ask people who are already members and pick up little tricks and advice from them.
A few bullet points on etiquette are:-
Let better more experienced players play through. They will be very frustrated and annoyed if you are holding them up.
Be polite and just ask them if they would like to go through. Remember they were once beginners too and they will appreciate and respect you for it and you may make new friends from who you can learn from.

Be silent and courteous when you are playing. This is an absolute must. Be noisy and disruptive and you may be dismissed from the club and banned altogether.
Where the ball lands is where you continue from. You cannot put the ball back on a tee or remove it out of the rough if it lands there.

Make sure you mark your own Golf ball. Many Golf balls are identical and when you strike your ball in the distance you may end up actually reshooting another ball you think is your but it is not. So mark your ball with a felt tip pen or similar.

Carry no more than 14 golf clubs in your Golf Bag.

I hope you find these few tips helpful and by all means carry out you're due diligence to find what works best for you and you're progressing through you're Golf Tuition.
I have played golf for many years and can offer you sound advice be you a beginner or an experienced player. For step by step guide on learning how to improve your overall golf game please go to http://www.golftuitionreview.com

Custom Golf Club: Custom fitting golf clubs

Every golfer's physical capability and swing is distinctive.

Many of today's best golf clubs can be custom fit for lie angle, shaft type and length, grip type and size.

Custom fitting golf clubs involves several easy measurements and a quick self-assessment of your game.

This custom golf club has become more than a fad that even not so professional golfers test its waters.

Custom fitting is the process for tailoring a golf club to suit your personal swing.

Whatever your level, with a custom golf club the aim is to ensure that if you do make a good swing, the club will be square at impact and should produce a straight shot.

Custom Golf Club How To's:

To custom fit your golf clubs, you need to know: your gender (male or female); your height in your stockings or socks; the distance from your wrist (where it bends) to the floor with your shoes off; your age; your handicap or skill level; how fast you swing a golf club; what club you use at the 150 yard marker.

Gender is used to put you into the correct fitting scale for custom golf clubs. The golf industry uses different definitions of "standard length" for men and women.

Your height and the distance in inches from your wrist to the floor are used together to determine the length of a custom golf club that is appropriate for you.
The starting point for club length can vary up to 3 ½-inch ranging from ladies to men plus 1 ½-inch. A tall person with long arms can very easily require shorter clubs than an average height person with short arms. About 80 percent of golfers are standard length.

Your age, handicap (if you happen to have one), self-assessed skill level, estimated golf swing speed and club you use at the 150 yard marker are all combined to determined the custom golf club's shaft flex that is appropriate for you.

Custom fitting can fix your slice. If you slice the ball it means that the toe of the club is leading into the ball which opens the face of the club.
That may be down to a swing fault, but it could be because the club is too flat. So as part of the custom fitting process you can make the custom golf club more upright to help with this. This will mean that the toe of the club will be slightly off the ground at address to compensate.

There are different methods of fitting according to custom golf club manufacturers but ultimately they are all trying to improve your game.
To begin with simple measurements such as wrist-to-floor, height and hand size are taken and will point you to the right size club and at what angle it should be to the ground.
Then you will take a club and hit some balls. One method is to place impact tape on the bottom of the custom golf club and an impact board on the floor.

As you hit the ball the board will leave a mark on the tape showing whether the heel or the toe of the custom golf club is striking the floor first.
The resulting mark will show whether the club face needs to be flatter or more upright. Then things get a bit more advanced. Analysis equipment can measure everything from your club speed to the side spin of the ball so that you can get maximum distance from your shot. You can also measure the launch angle of the ball, how much backspin you generate and impact efficiency - all which affect distance.
The angle in which the custom golf club approaches the ball and the sidespin of it can help fix your game too.

Rather than bringing down your old clubs, it might be better to start from scratch. It's a big misconception that custom fitting is only for good golfers. Anyone can benefit. That said, if you plan to upgrade a new set of clubs with the same manufacturer they may be able to adjust your old set to become custom golf clubs.

Custom fitting won't cure all your bad shots. Coaching will sort that out. But if you do make a good swing, then the custom golf club will arrive correctly at impact and should produce a straight shot at your target.
That alone will save shots during a round.

Lastly, custom fitting is often free of charge.
But it is usually on the condition that you buy some clubs once you've been fitted. So it really depends on what your budget is. If you're prepared to buy a new set of clubs it's definitely worth getting fitted.
